The Story of Rodeo Catering
Matt Rohdie and Jen Downey began Rodeo Catering in 2024, creating a new model for full-service catering for the wedding of their son, Finn, and 285 of his closest friends. Having operated Carpe Donut for 19 years with core principals of the highest food integrity, local sourcing, and collaborative labor practices, we established Rodeo Catering with the same vision and commitment in practice.
From its earliest events, we have offered clients the widest range of possible cuisines from our own kitchen, and in collaboration with over 30 local food vendors, market partners, and restaurants. Every vendor we work with sets their own prices, and we do not mark up their price to our clients, nor ask for discounts.

Matt and our entire team are deeply committed to making food and drink an integral part of a celebratory experience. We ask each family coming together for a wedding what foods speak celebration to them. For groups and organizations, we understand the reason for gathering and commit to supporting that vision through eating and drinking together. We value the service of the people who make a special day full of joy and flow smoothly, taking satisfaction in work well done.
